International Bicycling Tourism Conference (IBTC)

The first edition of the International Bicycling Tourism Conference (IBTC) saw the light of day in 2020, in the run-up to the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Utrecht. The conference brings together professionals from the tourism industry and stimulates the exchange of information on the development of bicycle tourism.

More than ever, bicycle tourism is in the spotlight. It is a sustainable activity that also contributes to a healthy lifestyle. This branch of tourism is also increasingly generating income for tourist destinations.

But the development of bicycle tourism has its own bumps and obstacles. The IBTC explains this and proposes solutions. Also, the IBTC presents case studies as an example. And of course the IBTC offers every opportunity for networking.

Online edition

In January 2023, the fourth edition of the IBTC is planned. Just as in 2021 and 2022, it will be an online edition.
